This lovely landmark Inn offers a full food menu 6 days a week, lunchtimes and evenings, & is also open on Sundays for Sunday roasts between 12 noon-6pm as well as having its own large skittle alley and function room with its own bar facility. It is ideal for parties, gatherings, meetings, weddings, groups or clubs. It also has a large beer garden with a children's play area.

For Touring Caravans and Motorhome owners we are a brilliant stopover for those going 'West' or 'East' on the A303, also for those visiting shows in the Bath and West Showground. Bath, Bristol, Castle Cary, Frome, Glastonbury, Longleat, Shepton Mallet, Wells and Yeovil are not far away. We offer full facilities for up to 22 caravans or motorhomes, with electrics and elsan disposal as well as a small shower and toilet amenity building. Tents are also very welcome. Weather permitting the Touring Park is open all year. The railway station is just 5 minutes walk up the road. Brook House Inn is in a rural location and surrounded by dairy farms that have cheese making plants and shops open to the public.

The North Inn was a favourite haunt of tin miners until the local mine closed in 1990.
It was voted CAMRA (Campaign For Real Ale) Cornwall Pub of the Year for 2003, which recognises not only the standard of the beers but also the atmosphere, the mix of clientele, the availability of food and even the condition of the toilets.
Simple, Inexpensive Camping Site
At the rear of the pub there is a camp site for tents and small touring vans which costs £4 per person per night including use of the showers which, with the toilets, are situated in the pub itself. There are no hook-up facilities or other "improvements" as this is only intended to be a simple, inexpensive site. Bookings for pitches cannot be made.

A small general shop, which also sells newspapers, is located at the rear of the pub.
