Blocked drain pipe

On site at the moment, using a long corrugated pipe for the grey waste, into the edge bottom. I use several sections of pipe, with joint. SWMBO complained that the shower wasn't draining and backing up. A bit of investigation and I found the last section of pipe was choked up. Pulling them apart out flowed the rotted carcass of some small animal.

EEeeuurrrrggghhhh. Note to self - check all sections of pipe before attaching it to the 'van & waste tank.

Happy

Our Avondale had hinged flaps to close off the drains. Good idea considering what you have just experienced.

Mine too, but it was in flexy pipe I use from the outlet on the caravan, to lead grey waste to the hedge bottom. It avoids using a container where the site owner allow or encourage this.

Its our first trip out this year, so it might well have crawled in at our last stop last year, or even whilst the pipe was coiled up over winter storage at home.
