For the repairs you could do with finding a local farmer that would be willing to let you use his barn for a while (may cost you a small sum but will be worth it). The awning rail has to come off completely and sorry but you will probably find that thelower wall batton is rotton as well. You will need to remove all the furniture at the front as you need to peel back the internal woodwork past the first signs of good solid wood. Just as a guess you will probably find that the frame round the leaking windo is rotton as is the frame for the front pannel below it and maybe even as far as halfway across. From experience rot spreads further than you may think or is obvious at first inspection.

I would take it in stages. Remove the furniture and stripp back taking photos as you go. This will help when rebuilding, gives a record of the work you have done should you decide to sell at a later date and also means you can post them here if you need to ask any questions. Once you have it stripped back then we can give advice on the best approach for the rebuild. As has been said taking your time is paramount as if you rush then mistakes get made. There is a wealth of help on here when it comes to repairs so feel free to ask anything you need to.
