Thumbs up ALKO ATC Wiring

Hi All,
Quick intro. Been Caravaning for 12yrs plus, mainly school holiday times, UK, France and Germany! Have a 2010 Coachman Amara 570/6 Festival. Love It!!! Previously towed with Disco 3, however electrical issues meant enough was enough!! Now tow with new Kia Sorento which does the job well, however definitely looser on the road!
Last summer had the Mother of all snakes with the van, still don't know how I saved it!!! Decided ALKO ATC was a safety option i wanted. Just got one from Ebay. Fitting it not worried about (thanks to this forum) but the electrics worry me! It has three block connectors
1 White/Orange and Brown cables,
2 Green/white, Green/Red & Green/Black cable,
3 Red & Green cables. (Presume the L.E.D cables)
Does anyone know where or how they fit to the van?
Thanks in anticipation
Gary

HI

the only info I have relates to Swift vans 2010

This is an email from sargents elec to member on another forum

quote

Re the wiring. my van is a 2010 Swift Challenger 570, wiring. the ATC loom had to be wired into the C44 road light fuse box which is situated right at the front of my van just where the 13 core cable comes into the van, just undo four screws and the fuse board comes away, at the back you will see a red plug in position FB7, I had to remove this plug and plug one of the plugs from my ATC loom into this socket then plug the red plug into the other socket plug on my ATC loom, this took all of two minutes to do and that was that.

Re: the LED, there are two wires coming from the loom a red wire and green wire, from the LED there are again two wires a brown wire and a blue wire, from what Ian, has told me the red and brown should be joined together and the blue and green should be joined together. Apart from fitting the unit on the axle thats it.

A assume the van has bonus group / plug in systems elec system

so you may need to contact the manufactuer , for info

or

obtain a wiring diagram

you could try Steve at http://www.expluginsteve.co.uk/

Regards Dave
