AL-ATC light not working.

ATC engaging but lamp does not light? Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, is it just a new LED?

Just had a email from ALKO, its likely to be the LED, you can buy from our shop.

£61.95 incl. 20% VAT, free of shipping costs

shipped within 3 ***8211; 5 working days!

Jim.

Try E-bay you didn't say your van make. It's usually the LED that blows.

DaveA thanks very much for the info but already found them on Ebay ordered yesterday. Will let you know how I get on, some people say it is water getting into the socket that is the trouble so will give the socket a good clean.

But I can,t believe the cost if it was a car component it would be a £10.

Thanks for all the replies.

From another forum a "segapod" very helpfully offers us a much cheaper DIY work around using bi colour LEDs from this link.

Jim, did you find a resistor or two were already in the old lead, or any needed adding?

Is it simply switch the old LED out for the new one?
