falling fuel prices

Isn't it nice to see fuel prices finally coming down and along with the government not putting it up 3p and the supermarket having 5p or 6p off its very welcome boost to our pockets

Fine

They are dropping here to, down to $1.23Ltoday with a 4c off docket. Has been up around $1.44l. Ours fluctuate through the week around 12c a litre but you don't know when. It used to be cheap Tuesday but that's gone.

Filled up on Monday and it was £1.40 at the local BP. Yesterday did shopping at Morrisons and got a voucher for 6p off a litre taking it down to £1.29 a litre however I don't like using supermarket fuel so it may go in the bin!

Cheerful

If you watch the tankers at Stanlow (did a job there a while ago) you see virtually every oil company and supermarket tankers all filling at the same loading points. Apparently most of it is pumped up from Foley I think the chap there said, in the Southampton area.

I guess its all down to the individual companies chemical cocktail that's added that is the difference. I assume its added into the tanker compartment at the time of filling.

Our Surfs run on anything remotely dieselish with no problem so the odd tankfull of 'supermarket special' wont hurt

Since Hollande has been elected in France one of the first things he did was to cap all fuel prices ofr a 3 month period, so at the moment at my local Intermarche the price was ***8364;1.34.

On another note, good to see the Flying Tog has joined from forum pastures elsewhere.
