Time Gentlemen Please

Well it looks like the Germans are at it again trying to take over wanting us to adopt their ways and change our clocks once again so they are the same as central Europe They tried many times before with wars and other means so now they are coming in the back door.....

Yet more nonsense from the DM. It's nothing to do with Germany.

Didn't see the DM running this type of story just before the clocks went back when a few south east businesses were backing such a change. This woman Harris is an Essex MP, just another person who thinks the only parts of the country that matter are London and Essex.

More nonsense from the Daily Mail (spit) If you look at their poll of whether readers agree with their story it actually shows more people in favour than against!

I don't blame you for hiding behind the sofa. I find it funny [your comment] as most foreign manufacturers use the UK as a benchmark for quality.

I couldn't give a rat's whatsit about you opinion per-se but you have highlighted a common misconception that if it is German then it is superior. I'm lucky enough to be able to take out lots of tourers and what makes many continental tourers better for me is the layout, the construction is average at best.

If construction quality actually mattered though we'd all have caravans from Solifer or Kabe .

Cool

I can only give an opinion following ownerships of Elddis and Bailey caravans and now a continental. My comment was 'tongue in cheek' but I have found the build and fittings quality far superior of the continental to the British ones, that runs from cupboards quality through to body panels. Just my opinion, but I cannot see us returning to a British van....

I would dis-agree as well. Having had UK built vans and now a Hobby which is a lot heavier and I can walk on the roof. It definately has a stronger feel to it and is more stable on the road due to longer A frame.
