Driver left scene after hitting caravan

POLICE are still hunting a driver who's car ploughed into a parked caravan in Laceby, sending bricks flying.
A peaceful night in the village was interrupted when the driver of an Audi lost control at a bend on Caistor Road, shortly before 9pm, on Friday, January 30.
It smashed through two security poles in front of the caravan, and a 2ft wall.

The bend on Caistor Road, Laceby, where a driver lost control and smashed into a caravan.
By the time the police had arrived at the scene, the male driver and male passenger had left.
However, before then shocked caravan owner John Squire, and residents from homes nearby, had spoken to the driver.
One of them, 38-year-old Dave Turner, said: "My partner and I were watching Coronation Street and we heard a bang that shocked us.
"It shook the house and we thought it must have been a lorry."
Humberside Police confirmed the incident took place at about 9pm, on Friday, January 30.
They said when attended, the driver was no longer at the scene. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
