CARAVAN and MOTOTORHOME CLUB
E MAIL from the above today
We wanted to give you advance notice that from 12 November 2019, we’ll be making a small price increase to UK Club Site prices for the year ahead. This is to cover the rising price of utilities and the day to day costs of running a network of 160 UK Club Sites. """ wonder how big sorry small it will be |

They need to recoup losses from dwindling membership since they rebranded the CC. Also now that they have dropped caravan insurance and replaced it with Caravan Cover which is not an insurance policy and not regulated as one, they need make up for any claims. When we found out that we had Caravan Cover and not caravan insurance we dropped it like a hot potato and went elsewhere.

Then you will have Caravan Cover and not Caravan insurance. This has recently been posted in discussions on the CAMC website; As a consequence of the extreme weather conditions being experienced across the country, The Club has considered it prudent to implement the following temporary measures, applying only to members purchasing new caravan cover in relation to flood cover. The Club will continue to sell caravan cover but exclude any claims that are caused by or due to flooding where the caravan is stored or located in an area that has been the subject of: • A severe flood warning • A flood warning • A flood alert In addition the Club will exclude any claim caused by flood damage on any new cover purchased within the following geographical areas; specifically at or near South Yorkshire, the Lower River Don Washland The River Derwent, Derbyshire The River Trent, Nottinghamshire In more general terms; South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Midlands.

I agree with the risk of repeating myself we stayed for a week at Warren Farm in Brean in September the nearest club site was £100 dearer as was the CCC sites Warren was on a par with club sites if not better I should have gone over to see just how " BUSY " they were or were,nt we usually stay on the CL/CS but now is it worth paying when private sites are better ????
