Three Afghan nationals have been found hiding in a caravan waiting to travel by ferry from France to England.
The stowaways, a man and woman in their 50s and a 12-year-old boy, were hiding in the toilet and the cupboard of the caravan towed by a British-registered Nissan Qashqai.
The driver, a 34-year-old man from Southampton, claimed to have been on a two day holiday in Dunkirk. He was travelling with his wife, a child and a second man aged 31.

But when officers searched the Mistral GTX 2-berth caravan, as it waited to board a DFDS Seaways ferry to Dover at about 2.30am on Thursday, they found the man and the woman hiding in a toilet, while the 12-year-old boy was locked in a cupboard.
The suspected would-be illegal immigrants were handed over to the French authorities at Dunkirk port and the driver and his companions were in the custody of the French border police, the Border Force has said.

The driver of the car is believed to be an Afghan taxi driver with a British passport, according to the Daily Express.
A Border Force source told the paper: 'Sometimes stowaways do break into caravans without the driver knowing, but the fact the cupboard the boy was in had been locked from the outside made this case a very suspicious one.'
The driver could face up to 10 years in prison and a £25,000 fine if he is charged and convicted of aiding illegal immigration.
Paul Morgan, Border Force Director for South East & Europe, said: 'This incident shows why we base Border Force staff in France - to stop would-be illegal immigrants before they can reach the UK.
'Our strong presence in French ports like Calais and Dunkerque, and close collaboration with French authorities, helps protect the whole of the UK from people attempting to enter the country illegally.'
As well as using physical searches Border Force officers use sniffer dogs, heartbeat detectors and carbon dioxide probes to find people hiding in vehicles and freight.

About 9,000 attempts to cross the channel from Calais, Dunkirk and the Channel Tunnel terminal at Coquelles were thwarted by officers last year, according to the latest figures.
In January the Home Office reported there could be 863,000 illegal migrants living in Britain.
The study also revealed that 10,000 people who had no legal right to live in Britain had been granted permission to stay under the 14-year rule.
The Home Office said the top five countries from which illegal immigrants had arrived are believed to be India, Nigeria, Pakistan, China, and Bangladesh.
