Iconic Airstream relaunches at the NEC Show

Iconic Airstream relaunches at the NEC Show

There are few names more famous in caravan circles than Airstream: the iconic American, ‘silver bullet’ trailer officially relaunched into the UK market at the Motorhome and Caravan show in Birmingham.
Airstream is now distributed by the Swift Group, Britain’s largest caravan and motorhome manufacturer, and is available at six dealers throughout Britain: they are Knowepark Caravans in Scotland, Catterick Caravans, Highbridge Caravan Centre, Lowhams Leisureworld, Salop Leisure and White Arches Caravans.

There’s a three-model line-up: the single axle Missouri, and two twin axle trailers: the Yukon and Colorado. Each is now available in two distinctive interior styles – one with black leather, the other with brown leather upholstery.

The lightest model is a hefty 1825kg max weight, so you’ll need a tow car with serious grunt to pull one of these giants. And they’re not cheap, with the Missouri starting at nearly £80,000, but aren’t they stunning?

See the Airstreams for yourself at the Motorhome and Caravan show in Hall 6. For more information about Airstream visit its website.

Even if we had £80k lying around we would not consider one of them. IMHO they are a throw back to the fifties, well over priced and no better than any other current caravan but that is just my opinion.
Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but it gets boring so I go back to being me.
