Prince William made you Proud in NZ

What an excellent visit by the prince. The people loved him but where he won people over was his reactions and style of approach . He asked for a private meeting with the families of the Pike River coal mine disaster. No media etc That was a hit with them At the memorial service he also spoke to many, if not all families of the victims of the quake. Spoke so very well with real care and compassion. Visited some areas of the quake damage.

The accommodation they used on the West Coast he is reported to have requested that all staff just dress as normal and no suits ties etc while he was in residence .

All in all I think he did an excellent job representing the Queen and I am sure everyone can feel very proud of his efforts.
Our people loved his visit and it did cheer so many people up.

The Royals take some bashing & some desreve it at times like Andrew, but it's great for William to do a great job for us you deserve it after what you've all been through. Best wishes for a speedy recovery & a safer future.

I have in general no time for the royals but it does look like there is hope for them as it seems he takes after his mother.

Coming from the potteries he is doing our local area a good favour with all the goods to be sold, but yes they seem a very decent couple good luck to them I am sure there will be plenty helping to celebrate their wedding alongside them

Regardless of if we like or dislike the royals Prince William was excellent and whilst I am not a strong supporter of the royals performances like his and his sensible attitude may just be the turning point for many.
