Tracker removal

HI all I had a new van 5 years ago with a tracker retrieve fitted I payed the extra for 5 years cover that expires shortly .
They have called and offered to renew but it requires a new peice of equipment in ,My question is the old one safe because it would need a battery and how would the you find it ? to remove it

I would guess they would deactivate the old one. They are small and only whoever fitted them knows where they are.

Tracker Retrieve is a waste of money and time and as good as a wet paper bag. You need to notify them if the caravan has gone missing and this could be hours later. By that time the thieves have found the tracker and disabled it. For peace of mind we had the Phantom Tracker fitted which is pro-active and not reactive.
Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but it gets boring so I go back to being me.
